My mother always talked me about Esther y su mundo, in England known as "Patty's world", by the spanish cartoonist Purita Campos, but I never had read none until the other day, when I saw this at the bookshop:

I fell in love with the lovely style of drawing, and the histories about a little girl who is growing-up and dicovering the world until that she is an adult...

Me enamoré del estilo encantador de dibujo, y las historias acerca de una niña que está creciendo, y descubriendo el mundo hasta que es adulta...



Purita Campos is one of the most talented cartoonist from the 70's and the 80's, and now the people from those generations, have the opportunity to revive a little those times with these comics, and also the children who were born in those years and were too little to read them, or a baby, like me.

Purita Campos es una de las dibujantes más talentosas de los 70 y 80, y ahora la gente de esas generaciones, tienen la oportunidad de revivir un poco aquellos tiempos con estos cómics, y también los niños que nacieron en esos años y eran demasiado pequeños para leerlos, o un bebé, como yo.

A few days ago I got an envelope with some adorable letters and a little gift... a
wicker flower! everything cute and everything from the lovely Jhoa! the letters are very elaborated and detailed, each detail make me smile!
how I love this girl! she's so pretty... in the broadest sense of the word! I hope to exchange letters with her forever! thank you darling!!!!

Also, I got a letter from Japan! I love that country and I want to know better the cutie Yoko... she seem a nice person and her letter is amazing too! I love the envelope, the postcards...everything! and her letter is giving off a nice smell... thank you too!!

Hace unos días recibí un sobre con algunas cartas adorables y un pequenño regalo...una flor de mimbre! todo precioso y todo de la adorable Jhoa! las cartas están súper elaboradas y detalladas, cada detalle me hace sonreír!
... como quiero a esta chica! es tan bonita... en el más amplio sentido de la palabra! espero intercambiar cartas con ella para siempre! Gracias cielo!!!!

También recibí una carta de Japón! amo ese país y quiero conocer mejor a la encantadora Yoko... parece muy buena persona y su carta es increíble también! me encanta el sobre, las postales... todo! y su carta desprende un olor... mmm

postcards and letters

Que emocionante es cuando, a veces, no tienes que abrir solamente facturas y cosas aburridascomo esas...soy muy feliz cuando recibo una carta o algunas postales de postcrossing (conocéis esta web? http://www.postcrossing.com )
He recibido algunas postales realmente bonitas y además de eso me escribo con una chica noruega adorable!
Creo que es maravilloso, hoy en día, compartir cartas de mi/su puño y letra, abrir el sobre y descubrir un pequeño mundo lleno de emociones y experiencias que la otra persona comparte contigo.
También es muy interesante, puedes aprender mucho de otro país, culturas y costumbres... y intercambiar pequeños regalos como ese delicioso chocolate con leche noruego que me envió! (gracias Ida!)
Este es llamado "chocolate de cuento de hadas" porque hay un tradicional cuento de hadas noruego en el envoltorio. Desafortunadamente no puedo entender nada... mi conocimiento de noruego es inexsistente, creo que es el momento de aprender un poco...

How exciting is when, sometimes, you don't have to open only bills and boring things like this... I'm very happy when I get a letter or some postcards from postcrossing ( do you know that web? http://www.postcrossing.com )
I have got some amazing postcards and as well as I write to a Norwegian lovely girl! I think that is wonderful, nowadays, to share letters in my/her own handwritting, to open the envelope and to discover a little world full of emotions and experiences that the other person to share with you.
Also it is very interesting, you can learn a lot about other country, cultures and costums... and swap small gifts like that delicious norwegian milk-chocolate that she send me! (thank you Ida!)
This one is called "Fairytale-chocolate" because there is a traditional norwegian fairytale in the wrapper. But unfortunately, I can't understand nothing...my knowledge of Norwegian is non-existent, I think it's time to learn a little...
